Kim Treichler and the Slovak Legion Branch #129 Colour Party will be visiting many Retirement Homes and doing services for our Seniors prior to November 11 .  Please check the schedule posted below running from November 6 to November 10.

Thank you to all involved with paying tribute to the many who sacrificed so much to ensure we have the freedoms we do in Canada today.

The Royal Canadian Slovak Legion Branch 129 Remembrance Day Ceremony  will be held at the Slovak Legion on November 11, 2025 in our Legion Main Hall starting at 10:30am.

The Royal Canadian Slovak Legion Branch 129 Remembrance Day Ceremony is indoors and fully accessible. 

We proudly wear a poppy as a tribute to all who fought, and those who continue to serve as part of the Canadian Armed Forces, and those who died to ensure we have the freedoms we do in Canada today! “A Veteran is any person who is serving or who has honorably served in the Canadian Armed Forces, the Commonwealth or its wartime allies, or as a Regular Member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, or as a Peace Officer in a Special Duty Area or on a Special Duty Operation, or who has served in the Merchant Navy or Ferry Command during wartime.”
