DESCRIPTION:Monday March 18\, 2018 Branch 129 Slovak Legion General Membership Meeting at 7:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing our members. \nPlease share the following with any family or friends who may be interested in joining as members as well.\n.\nCONSIDER JOINING THE ROYAL CANADIAN SLOVAK LEGION BRANCH#129: You are invited or invite others (if you are already a member) to consider joining the Royal Canadian Slovak Legion Branch#129. Applications are available at our Main Office 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday. We welcome new applicants. \nThe Slovak Legion is well known throughout the community for its charitable and service work and continues to be an integral member of the city of Thunder Bay. Why not encourage others to become involved. \nAny Canadian citizen or citizen of an Allied nation who is 18 years of age or older is welcome to become a member of the Legion. There are four main categories of membership: \nOrdinary membership\nIncludes still serving and retired military\, reservists\, RCMP\, police officers\, Canadian Coast Guard\, and others listed in the General By-Laws. \nAssociate membership\nIncludes parents\, spouses\, widows\, widowers\, children\, grandchildren\, siblings\, nieces as well as nephews of a person who is or was eligible for Ordinary membership. \nAffiliate voting membership\nIncludes Canadian citizens or Commonwealth subjects from an Allied nation who support The Royal Canadian Legion’s aims and objectives and are not eligible for ordinary or associate membership. \nAffiliate non-voting membership\nIncludes non-Canadian citizens or non-Commonwealth subjects from an Allied nation who support The Royal Canadian Legion’s aims and objectives. \nJoin us today!
