November 11 Remembrance Day

Remember to proudly wear a poppy as a tribute to all who fought, and those who continue to serve as part of the Canadian Armed Forces, and those who died to ensure we have the freedoms we do in Canada today! “A Veteran is any person who is serving or who has honorably served in the Canadian Armed Forces, the Commonwealth or its wartime allies, or as a Regular Member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, or as a Peace Officer in a Special Duty Area or on a Special Duty Operation, or who has served in the Merchant Navy or Ferry Command during wartime.”

Attend a Remembrance Day Ceremony and thank a veteran. Your freedoms and mine in Canada came from the sacrifices of many and should not be taken for granted. We will remember them…
